Common Vocabulary

Speed your vocabulary

If you’d like to get a head start on your vocabulary, this page provides everything you need.

You have two options here based on. your starting point and what you are able to achieve.

  1. All common vocabulary in a single file
  2. Add multiple sets of vocabulary at once

As you choose which of these you will use bear in mind the following tips:

Don’t get overwhelmed

Adding too many words at one time can leave you with a large number of words in a high review frequency. If you have a busy life, this may mean you are spending more time each day reviewing vocabulary than you have time for.

Don’t get overwhelmed. You are better off adding words slowly in a sustainable manner than adding too many at one time and getting overwhelmed.

Don’t add word forms you are not ready for

If you haven’t yet encountered verbs (with a lexical form normally ending in -ω) stick with word forms you are familiar with.

Once you’ve got the basics of verbs, go ahead and add a bunch of words at one time if you’d like to.

Everything in one file
